Job Summary
Provides trauma-informed, survivor-centered advocacy and case management for survivors of domestic violence within the Illinois Civil Legal system; delivers individual advocacy, case management, emotional support, safety planning, and other systems advocacy; participates in on-call rotation and 24-hour crisis response; requires reliable transportation and a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends, and holidays; service area includes Rock Island and Henry County (Moline, IL).
Required Qualifications
- Education Required: Open
- Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience Required: equivalent education & related work experience
- Experience Preferred: 1-year related experience
- A valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required
- Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check
