Job Summary
Conduct client and other interviews, identify issues, and develop advocacy strategies to assist people with disabilities in systems change efforts. Analyze cases for systemic issues, negotiate solutions, and facilitate self-advocacy while consulting with families and advocacy groups. Maintain accurate, confidential files, case records, and time logs; prepare reports to funding sources; and develop training materials. Travel throughout New York State and outside the state as necessary to perform assigned job tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
