Job Summary
Conduct client interviews, analyze cases for systemic issues, and develop advocacy strategies to support individuals with disabilities. Negotiate solutions, facilitate self-advocacy, and consult with families and groups to identify and address barriers. Maintain confidential files, prepare reports for funding sources, and conduct training and outreach activities. Participate in committees and task forces while keeping informed on best practices and technology advances. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong research and communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse groups. Multilingual skills and a New York State driver's license are preferred. The position offers an annualized salary range of $52,000 to $80,000 and includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits. Full-time employees receive paid time off and retirement plan eligibility.
