Job Summary
Lead youth-led advocacy programs, including managing and coordinating the Advocacy Careers Training (ACT!) program through curriculum development, session facilitation, and mentorship to develop advocacy skills and public speaking; facilitate Advocacy 101 workshops; oversee the Youth Council and its annual project; update and enhance advocacy and leadership curricula; develop recruitment strategies for Advocacy 101, ACT!, and Youth Council; coordinate logistics and staff leadership for the Florida House and Florida Senate Page Programs and the Summit for America’s Youth; build relationships with community organizations and advisory committees; collect and analyze data to improve program outcomes; maintain inclusivity in recruitment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years of experience in youth development, leadership, or related field preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and program facilitation
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
