Job Summary
Draft e-newsletters, memos, infographics, and briefing materials on mine action for Congressional offices and partners. Track legislative updates, request Congressional meetings, and record meeting notes. Support advocacy events, briefings, and social media content while managing contacts and data in Quorum. Recruit and educate grassroots advocates, conduct light research on current events and election activity, and perform analysis to improve advocacy outcomes. Call Congressional offices to acquire staff contacts and support calendar management for senior staff.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- graduate student or recent graduate from an undergraduate institution
- at least 3 years of combined work/internship experience (in any field)
