Job Summary
Lead a Planning Associate team to deliver high-quality financial planning deliverables to advisors, balancing direct client service with people management. Responsibilities include coordinating planning work, monitoring quality and adherence to planning standards, providing mentorship and ongoing feedback, addressing scheduling and performance issues with the Planning Associate Team Leader, communicating departmental goals, conducting regular one-on-one coaching, tracking SMART goals, and participating in annual performance reviews. Collaborate with HR and the Planning Associate Team Leader on career development and promotions, stay current on planning tools and methodologies, support team culture and cross-office collaboration, and travel as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and CFP or CFA certification, 5-8 years in wealth management or financial services, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Partial remote work offered across multiple office locations (Charlotte, Atlanta, Boston, Westwood, Wayne, New York, Annapolis, McLean).

- CFP or CFA certification
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a wealth management-related or financial services field
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
