Job Summary
Advisor, Strategic Partnerships and Government Affairs leads partnership cultivation and coordinated advocacy for KS, coordinating coalitions and joint initiatives with Native Hawaiian-serving, educational, and government partners; conducts policy research, briefing notes, and reporting; supports legislative and regulatory engagement; collaborates with communications and other divisions to align messaging with enterprise priorities; travels to neighbor islands and US continent locations, with hybrid work possible under supervisor-approved plans; effectiveness grounded in cultural integrity, trust, and stakeholder alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Hawaiian Studies, Political Science, Business, or related field
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in legislative affairs, policy analysis, community partnerships, or advocacy coordination
