Job Summary
The Advisor – Process Engineer will serve as a senior technical authority within the Lilly Medicine Foundry Process Engineering organization, providing expert-level engineering guidance across the lifecycle of process development, scale-up, and manufacturing support for investigational small molecules. Responsibilities include leading engineering calculations, conducting rig-fit assessments using process simulation tools, providing guidance on reactor system designs, and managing compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. The role requires mentoring process engineers and engaging with cross-functional partners, as well as authoring high-quality technical documents and reports.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline with 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CMO process engineering supporting drug substance API development or manufacturing
