Job Summary
Legal and regulatory compliance advisor at Desjardins. Design, update, implement and monitor legal and regulatory compliance action plans, programs and tools to balance business needs and best practices; diagnose issues, analyze information, and develop recommendations; train internal practitioners and communicate ethics and compliance culture; oversee business line activities; represent the unit before committees and partners. Requires a law degree, at least four years of relevant experience, membership in the Québec Bar, French (Québec) and English proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions. Hybrid work arrangement is indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Member of the Québec Bar
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English
