Job Summary
Junior Service Advisor in a dealership service department, training under a Lead Service Advisor to write and manage repair orders, communicate vehicle status to customers, handle inquiries via phone/email/text, assist with vehicle check-ins and documentation, coordinate with parts and technicians, manage scheduling and general administrative support, and learn dealership management software. The role emphasizes delivering a positive customer experience, professional communication, independence, and ongoing growth within a fast-paced, Monday–Friday environment. No automotive experience required; hands-on mentoring and a clear path toward a full-service advisor position are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service background or experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication skills — verbal and written
- Comfortable working with computers, phones, email, and text-based communication platforms
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
