Job Summary
College Advisor leads one-on-one and group sessions with high school students and families to navigate the college planning process (test prep, timelines, scholarships, and applications) using Class 101’s curriculum. Part-time, hourly role with student-based incentives; requires mentoring, relationship-building with families, and ability to guide students through planning tasks. Opportunities to host information sessions and participate in workshops. Located in Atlanta, GA; in-person collaboration with a supportive team and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with teens, families, or in education, coaching, or youth programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated with a passion for mentoring and education
- Comfortable learning new tools and following structured systems
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (education, counseling, psychology, or related field a plus)
