Job Summary
Advisor, Governance and Strategic Directions for the Ontario Credit Union within Desjardins Group. Lead strategic planning, strategic intelligence, and performance monitoring; identify service improvement opportunities; design business strategies and solutions related to transformation initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor and leader for decision-making bodies, delivering analyses, presentations, and executive summaries for senior management. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to position, plan, execute, and monitor strategic mandates; contribute to policy, standards, models, and programs supporting strategic projects; monitor Ontario regulatory developments and ensure compliance while maintaining sustainable relationships with regulatory authorities. Coordinate with FCDQ units to align with CDO requirements, and participate in planning unit priorities, resource allocation, and efficient use of practices and tools in line with Desjardins Group’s cooperative values. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience, including at least two years in partnership management
- Advanced proficiency of English
- Knowledge of regulations related to banking activities
- Knowledge of the various support functions within Desjardins Group
