Job Summary
Advisor, Global Medical Affairs role providing clinical expertise and strategic direction across the product lifecycle for Cardinal Health’s Presource Medical devices. Responsibilities include serving as SME to support product design, change management, risk mitigation; aligning clinical practice with product usage across Marketing, Sales, Clinical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, and Post Market Surveillance; contributing to claims and instructions for use; delivering medical expertise for adverse event communications to FDA and international regulators; developing Medical Affairs processes, VOC summaries, and presentations; participating in audits, business reviews, and supplier quality discussions; supporting product launches and manufacturing changes; maintaining knowledge of kit configuration and process controls; coaching on quality best practices; and travel up to ~25%.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing involving direct patient care, in Operating Room (OR), Perioperative Care Unit, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Advanced Practice Nurse or Master’s level degree with active nursing license a plus.
- Knowledge and/or experience in quality improvement and patient safety across the care continuum, preferred.
- Experience in the medical device industry, preferred.
- Ability to assess clinical outcomes, analyze data, summarize, and present findings preferred.
