Job Summary
Receive inquiries from customers, develop quotes, and process purchase orders while adhering to AS9100 Quality Standards. Manage and own multiple accounts by soliciting forecasts, developing pricing, and targeting new growth. Process complaints and product returns to quickly aid customers, creating accurate sales orders and documentation. Participate in creative efforts to improve business processes, eliminate waste, and reduce transactions in alignment with lean practices. Work as the primary contact point for external customers, interacting routinely to improve the role of Customer Service within the site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field; or a comparable combination of education and/or work experience
- Operating knowledge of MS Office software
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Experience working in customer-facing organizations
- Good written and verbal communication skills including participating, hosting, and leading online meetings
- Ability to self-direct oneself to assess scope of work, plan and schedule, and then compete daily tasks
- Ability to maintain self-control during stressful situations
- Candidate must be able to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
- Personal experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment
- Some exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Machine Drawing and Blueprint Reading skills
