Job Summary
The Advisor Consultant is responsible for increasing market share and growing assets within an assigned territory. This role involves driving sales through building relationships with financial advisors, implementing business plans, and leveraging data to capture market share. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and relevant licenses, possess five years of industry experience, and demonstrate strong relationship-building and presentation skills. The candidate will travel frequently and must adhere to compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business, economics, finance, sales, or marketing (or equivalent on-the-job experience)
- Fully licensed (Series 7, Series 63)
- Able and willing to travel 80% of the time
- A minimum of five years of external wholesaling experience preferred
- Proven ability to build strong relationships
- Confident public speaker
- Great at making presentations
- Coachability
- Impeccable integrity and sound judgment
- Keen awareness of industry dynamics
- Resourcefulness and superior problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Existing relationships with advisors and centers of influence in the territory
- Demonstrated track record of success in assigned broker dealer firms
- Additional industry designations (i.e., CIMA, CFA)
