Advisor, Asia Impact

Advisor, Asia Impact responsible for supporting the realisation of RMIT University’s strategic aspiration to be a leading university of impact in the Asia Pacific region with a particular focus on project delivery under the AVPI program. Works closely with the Associate Director, Asia Impact and a broad range of stakeholders in Australia and Asia (notably Vietnam) across government, industry and think tanks. Requires experience in managing strategic projects, stakeholder expectations, and delivering actionable insights to influence public policy and outcomes. Strong communication skills across all levels of the University, ability to work independently and in cross-cultural contexts, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. The role is based at Melbourne CBD with potential to be based at other campuses and to undertake hybrid work; appointment subject to Working with Children and National Police Checks. Preferred candidates may have understanding of the Asia-Pacific region and experience supporting cross-institutional programs across multiple tasks and projects.
