Adviser Environment

Site-based Environment Adviser, reporting to the Superintendent Environment, to champion environmental performance within Rio Tinto's Bell Bay Aluminium operations. The role involves interfacing with on-site personnel to promote environmental goals, providing technical environmental advice to operational teams, preparing and submitting compliance reports, managing surface water quality, stormwater, waste, groundwater, and emissions, handling incident reporting, delivering and participating in audits, implementing the environmental management system, and interpreting legislation and regulations. The position requires strong communication and partnering skills, ability to work independently, and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic portfolio of environmental activities.
