Job Summary
Provide one-on-one admissions and financial aid advice to students and families navigating college enrollment. Organize group sessions and present at college fairs to guide high schoolers through the application process. Establish productive relationships with school principals, counselors, and teachers to support student planning. Maintain expertise in admissions and financial-aid strategies while assisting colleagues within the service area. This fixed-term role supports Title One high schools from August 2026 to June 2027, with a possibility of renewal. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required for programs and events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
- Bachelor's degree within the last year
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
- May work in extreme temperatures
- May work around standard office conditions
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
- Use of manual dexterity
- Lifting and moving
- Occasional evenings and weekends required for programs and events
- Occasional travel may be required
- A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for this position
- If hired, you will be required to complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form
- You will be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove your identity and authorization to work in the United States
- Documents need to be presented no later than the third day of employment
- The University of Texas at Austin use E-Verify to check the work authorization of all new hires effective May 2015
Desired Qualifications

- Bilingual-Spanish
