Advertising Space Procurement Operations Staff in Business Planning oversees the design and execution of newly established procurement management operations for Rakuten’s Ad & Media/Marketing Solutions unit. The role involves implementing an operational framework, coordinating with senior managers and external partners, building and improving procurement processes, and actively contributing to cross-divisional integration initiatives. You will join during the team’s foundational phase, participate in designing fundamental processes, and help establish workflows and systems across divisions. Requirements emphasize a proactive mindset, effective communication across internal teams and external partners, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; English-language qualifications or a university degree in an English-speaking country are valued.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in back-office or operations roles where accuracy is critical.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on identifying challenges and driving improvements.
  • PC skills: Excel (data aggregation and analysis using VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint (presentation creation).
  • English qualification: TOEIC score exceeding 800 or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country.
