Job Summary
Adventure Therapist in Ballina, NSW: deliver high-quality, place-based, outdoor and experiential therapies to young people aged 14–18; provide outreach and community-based practice in schools, family homes, and community settings with occasional overnight camps; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate holistic care; uphold child safety, cultural safety, and NSQMHCMO accreditation; demonstrate evidence-based therapy, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to work flexibly in non-traditional environments.
Required Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or Post-Graduate Counsellor with current registration (AHPRA, AASW, ACMHN, PACFA, or ACA)
- Valid driver’s licence (NSW/Australia)
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Federal Police Check
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate
