Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory while maintaining quality through washing, detailing, and charging. Manage vehicle logistics including lot organization, shuttling, and secure key management to keep the service center clean and organized per 5S principles. Assist technicians with basic repairs, Pre-Delivery Inspections, and Express Lane work under supervision while learning to safely use hand and power tools. Participate in the TRAIL program for guided technical training and mentorship toward a long-term career as a Service Technician. Complete Rivian Learning Network modules and maintain a flexible, all-hands-on-deck mindset to support cross-functional site needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid driver's license
- No driving-related suspensions or revocation of Driver's License (within a 3-5 year period)
- Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week
- Ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physical exertion capability (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling)
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, using tools, entering data, writing communications, or calling customers/internal partners
- Ability to see, read, and interpret documents (governmental regulations, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, schematics)
- Ability to interact with customers, families, 3rd party affiliates, and suppliers
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential
- Previous technical experience (automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, electrical work)
- Experience in an adjacent technical industry (aviation, HVAC, manufacturing)
- A strong desire to learn
- A high degree of adaptability

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
