Job Summary

Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory while maintaining quality and delivery readiness through washing, detailing, and charging. Manage vehicle logistics including lot organization, shuttling, and secure key management to keep the service center clean, safe, and organized per 5S principles. Assist technicians with basic repairs, Pre-Delivery Inspections, and Express Lane work under supervision while learning to safely use hand and power tools. Participate in the TRAIL program to complete Rivian Learning Network modules and receive mentorship for a long-term career as a Service Technician. Maintain a flexible, all-hands-on-deck mindset to provide cross-functional support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • No driving-related suspensions or revocation of Driver's License (within a 3-5 year period)
  • Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week
  • Ability to work varied shifts
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Ability to work holidays
  • Physical exertion capability (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to see, read, and interpret documents
  • Documents include governmental regulations
  • Documents include safety rules
  • Documents include operating and maintenance instructions
  • Documents include schematics
  • Ability to use hands for grasping
  • Ability to use hands for using tools correctly

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • GED
  • Other recognized high school equivalency credential
  • Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work)
  • Experience in an adjacent technical industry (e.g. aviation, HVAC, or manufacturing)
  • A strong desire to learn
  • A high degree of adaptability
  • A passion for working with your hands
