Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory while maintaining quality through washing, detailing, and charging. Manage vehicle logistics including lot organization, shuttling, and secure key management to ensure a clean, safe service center adhering to 5S principles. Assist technicians with Pre-Delivery Inspection tasks and Express Lane work under supervision, learning to safely use hand and power tools. Participate in the TRAIL program for guided technical training and mentorship to prepare for a future as a Service Technician. Complete Rivian Learning Network modules and provide cross-functional support as needed. This entry-level role offers a hands-on development experience focused on preparing you for long-term technical career growth within the Service team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid driver's license
- No driving-related suspensions or revocation of Driver's License (within a 3-5 year period)
- Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week
- Ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physical exertion capability (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to see, read, and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions or schematics
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential
- Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work)
- Experience in an adjacent technical industry (e.g. aviation, HVAC, or manufacturing)
- A strong desire to learn
