Job Summary
Develops donor strategies and materials to optimize fundraising efforts, leveraging broad fundraising principles to improve practices and expand the donor base. Collaborates with the Event and Stewardship Specialist to acknowledge major donors through public and private recognition and events; advances personalized donor engagement to help achieve philanthropic goals; secures individual annual, major, and planned gifts; executes a comprehensive stewardship cycle to maintain donor relationships; manages a donor portfolio with regular communication; identifies new prospects and leads the Grateful Patient Program; maintains relationships with hospital ambassadors to facilitate donor engagement and timely recognition.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of nonprofit fundraising experience with a strong portfolio and proven ability to secure gifts and meet objectives
- Ability to inspire donor confidence
- Experience using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM
- Team player with ability to work across organization and with volunteers
- Ability to acquire knowledge about AdventHealth projects and maintain confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- 5+ position-related experience preferred
- Hospital or healthcare fundraising experience preferred
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred
