Job Summary
Advancing Financial Adviser role with Old Mutual in Pietermaritzburg, Howick and Surrounds, Estcourt, and Greytown. Requires Matric or equivalent and at least 12 months’ financial services experience as a Financial Adviser, Long-term Insurance Class of Business completion (additional FAIS qualifications such as Investments Class of Business; RE5 and FSCA-approved qualifications are advantageous). Must have a valid driver’s licence and own car, plus clear criminal and credit checks. Demonstrates computer literacy, excellent written and verbal communication, planning and organisational abilities, entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, grit and resilience, and excellent listening skills to translate customer engagements into sales. Skills include consultative selling, customer feedback management, customer service, customer understanding, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities, data management, and strategic selling; with competencies in stakeholder balance, networking, effective communication, customer focus, accountability, trust, interpersonal savvy, and managing complexity.
