Job Summary
Advancement Manager responsible for designing and implementing activities to raise at least $750,000 in fundraising, demonstrated history of fundraising growth through donor and prospect research, acquisition and stewardship, and a strong emphasis on relationship-building and sustaining engagement. Collaborates cross-functionally with programs, experience, marketing and finance to advance development, writing effective proposals and impact reports, planning moves management for existing donors, increasing annual fund giving, analyzing members for prospective donors, cultivating individual and corporate donors, and coordinating grant activities and sponsorships. Strong candidates will show passion for inquiry and informal science education, with a focus on building financial resources for Imagination Station.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two to four years fundraising experience
- Experience in membership-driven environments preferred
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain donor relationships
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
- Positive, energetic, entrepreneurial, resourceful, flexible with initiative
- Ability to analyze donors and cultivate new donors
- Experience with annual campaigns, events, impact reporting, prospect research, and database management
