Job Summary
Advancement & Communications Associate supporting a mission-driven nonprofit focused on educational equity and college access. Responsibilities include data management and administrative support (gift entry, donor acknowledgments, receipts, pledge reminders, and invoices), using Salesforce to track constituent notes and mailing addresses, preparing donor listings for the Annual Giving Report, and reconciling gifts with senior leadership for audits. Conduct fundraising research with WealthEngine and assist in financial reconciliations with the CFO. Manage communications using HubSpot for email lists and contact data cleanup; support senior leadership with social media, website updates, and printed materials; organize digital storage with Google Drive, HubSpot, and Canva. Provide event support for galas, receptions, alumni reunions, and board meeting logistics, and prepare event materials. Requirements include demonstrated commitment to educational equity, ability to manage multiple projects, strong written/verbal communication, Salesforce proficiency (HubSpot preferred), and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 1-2 years of related experience preferred. The role is hybrid with two days in the office and three days remote at Boston, MA, with benefits and an emphasis on collaboration and data-driven fundraising.
Required Qualifications
