Job Summary
Advancement Associate responsible for managing gift activity and constituent communications for school fundraising initiatives. Core duties include gift entry and acknowledgements, processing recurring and matching gifts, pledge reminders, maintaining donor data integrity, managing online giving pages and forms, producing gift reports, supporting gala and special events, building mailing lists and name tags, assisting with gala presentations, supporting the Annual Fund and Alumni activities, and serving as the departmental CRM lead. Requires discretion with donor information, strong computer literacy, collaboration with the Advancement team, and proficiency in CRM usage and data management. Skills emphasized include donor management, data quality, event support, fundraising operations, reporting, communications, and cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with donor management systems preferred (e.g., VeraCross, Raisers Edge)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to collaboration and teamwork
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong customer service mindset with consistent follow-through
