Job Summary
Advanced Universal Banker for Summit, SD: provide a professional customer experience from sales to service, develop understanding of bank products to offer options, open new consumer deposit accounts, submit credit applications for consumer loans, and handle customer transactions. Cross-sell products, proactively transition customers to bankers/partners, maintain knowledge of products and services, ensure compliance with policies and banking laws, and travel as needed to staffing needs or training at the Minnwest Training Center in Eagan, MN.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1 year of consumer lending experience
- 1 to 2 years' experience selling products and services
- Knowledge of bank products
- Able to comply with Minnwest Bank policies and procedures as well as state and federal banking laws and regulations
- Must have or obtain Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at time of employment or within 6 months of employment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to open new consumer deposit accounts and process deposit-related paperwork
- Ability to cross-sell bank products and services
- Willing to travel to various branches for staffing coverage and training
