Job Summary
Conduct over 300 thyroid and parathyroid operations, including reoperative cases, minimally invasive techniques, and management of regional metastatic disease. Gain expertise in ultrasound and cancer management while participating in resident education and limited research. Receive exposure to Head & Neck Surgery through contemporary practices managed by six fellowship-trained surgeons, with optional coverage of major ablative cases, microvascular reconstructions, and endoscopic skullbase surgery. Assist at the VA or county hospital if interested in specific cases. Complete a one-year operative program with optional two-year commitment, balancing limited call and clinic responsibilities with time for board preparation. Requires ENT residency training and a California Medical License.
