Job Summary
Advanced Tax Planner to work with a team of financial professionals to develop tax strategies and reduce clients’ tax liability. Responsibilities include analyzing tax liability, preparing tax projections, preparing and filing tax returns, delivering client presentations, developing and maintaining a client base, marketing tax plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, 6+ years of tax return experience, active EA or CPA license, and active PTIN. Experience with CCH Axcess is preferred. Location: Taylor, MI. Full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 6+ years’ relevant experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Must possess active Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license
- Must possess active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
