Job Summary
Director-level Advanced Specialist in Shared Services and Banking Operations focusing on managing complex product reference data and pricing data processes (Equity, Listed Derivatives), overseeing data quality controls, and coordinating with trading desks, operations teams, IT development, and vendors. Responsibilities include analyzing non-standard data quality issues, defining monitoring rules against external providers and internal controls, understanding data flows and their impact on operations, and escalating risks with governance. Strong relationship-building, understanding of financial products and downstream impact of data quality, commercial thinking about operational outcomes, and excellent communication and collaboration across multiple teams. Technical exposure to SQL and databases is a plus. Based in Tokyo, Japan (office-based).
