Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment and software proficiently to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safety and maintaining imaging standards. Serve as a lead resource when direct leadership is unavailable, assist in training, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Recognize technical abnormalities in diagnostic images and adjust protocols as needed. Requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, two years of experience, and state licensure. Full-time or PRN status with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and tuition support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
- 2 years of relevant experience
- State licensure
- ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 3 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

- Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage schedules, and coordinate daily operations
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed
- Knowledge in proficiency producing diagnostic images with the ability to recognize technical abnormalities
- Knowledge of advanced procedures and/or invasive procedures, if applicable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and accreditation standards
