Job Summary
Advanced Sonographer leading imaging operations, operating ultrasound equipment and software to support diagnosis and treatment, serving as a lead when leadership is unavailable, training staff, and ensuring imaging standards and patient safety. Requires ability to lead, coordinate daily operations, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals, and possess proficiency in producing diagnostic images with attention to protocol quality and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
- 2 years of relevant experience
- State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice
- ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 3 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area and 5 years of applicable experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)
- In the state of Arkansas, ARDMS-RVT OR CCI-RVS OR ARRT-VS may be required within 12 months of hire and/or transfer depending on scope of role
