Job Summary
Advanced Sonographer at Mercy Orthopedic Hospital in Ozark, MO who operates ultrasound imaging equipment and software to assist in diagnosis, serves as lead when direct leadership is unavailable, acts as an expert resource, may train others, and maintains imaging standards with a focus on patient safety and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Requires proficiency with imaging protocols, ability to produce diagnostic images, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications or equivalent advanced registries with clinical experience are required, along with state licensure as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Licensure as required by state (state licensure may be required)
- ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 3 applicable advanced registries/certifications within applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within applicable work area and 5 years of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
