Advanced RN Practitioner Electrophysiology

Role Summary: Advanced RN Practitioner in Electrophysiology supporting the EP service by assisting the administrative team with hiring, onboarding and training of staff (including case managers, LPNs, and Medical Assistants) and overseeing the EP device clinic operations. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical practices per guidelines, training staff for remote monitoring of implanted devices and in-person device checks, coordinating outreach and in-reach referrals for EP care, conducting comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests in collaboration with physicians, and actively participating in departmental meetings and in-service programs. The role requires clinical expertise in cardiology/EP, coordination of resources for the device clinic, and ongoing communication to ensure high-quality EP patient care.
