Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision of licensed Radiologic Technologists, Managers, and Radiologists while obtaining optimal image quality. Provide personalized care to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric populations, ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards. Manipulate radiology equipment, including mobile units, select exposure factors, and lift or transport patients. Recognize emergencies and adapt to a fast-paced daily workload. Requires current BLS certification, English communication skills, and basic computer knowledge. Must be enrolled in the second year of a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in the second year of a nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer knowledge
- Capable of manipulating radiology equipment, including mobile and other equipment
- Capable of selecting and manipulating exposure factors
- Capable of lifting, moving, and transporting patients
- Capable of continual standing and walking
- Capable of recognizing emergencies
- Capable of adapting to fast pace daily workload
- Capable of communicating effectively
