Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as part of Mercy’s Orthopedic Hospital Imaging Department in Ozark, MO. The Advanced Radiologic Technologist operates radiographic imaging equipment, ensures patient safety, maintains high-quality imaging and documentation, and communicates effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with ARRT-Radiography certification and BLS; state licensure may be required. Part-time role with responsibilities including adhering to imaging standards, safety protocols, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
- Certification/Registration: ARRT-Radiography; Basic Life Support (BLS)
- State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice
- Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Physical requirements: push/pull/lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, squat
