Job Summary
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for complex quality issues. Develop and optimize inspection methods, tools, and test equipment for new products and processes. Conduct statistical analysis of process data to identify trends, predict failures, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated into product and process development from concept to launch. Manage and maintain quality management system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records. Drive the implementation of advanced quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP. Mentor and train junior quality engineers and manufacturing personnel on quality methodologies and best practices. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality, 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949. Salary range is $84,000 - $124,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949) and associated tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP)
- Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) preferred
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
