Job Summary
Prepare and implement Quality Plans based on internal systems and custom requirements while supporting process tailoring for program needs. Monitor build and test activities to ensure compliance with Quality Plans, customer requirements, and approved GDMS processes. Ensure proper records of as-built product configuration and participate in Deviation and Engineering Change processes to manage effective change transfer. Monitor nonconformances, apply root cause analysis to counteract systemic defects, and lead cross-functional investigations. Perform program-specific audits and surveillance to evaluate compliance with processes and customer requirements. Participate in supplier evaluation and selection processes to identify development opportunities and collect metrics to drive continuous improvement. Implement Quality System policies and procedures as required.
Required Qualifications
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (if Bachelor's degree)
- Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (alternative path)
- Fully proficient knowledge of engineering (i.e., software, electrical, systems, etc.) methodologies, tools, and standards
- Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
- Fully proficient knowledge of use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques

- Outstanding communication skills to work proactively with a project team and interact with project leaders and other professionals within Engineering and Operations departments
- Ability to think creatively and multi-task to complete projects on time
- Solid skills in reviewing documents, drawings and instructions for conformance to requirements techniques
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
