Job Summary
Advanced QA Engineer responsible for testing company products to ensure standards and specifications are met. Responsibilities include executing test cases, creating and running automated tests, creating defect reports, and collaborating with Application Engineering to troubleshoot issues. Performs functional, regression, usability, and load/performance testing; ensures product quality aligns with Waystar standards; produces automated tests with readable, reusable code and develops, runs, and maintains manual test plans and cases; analyzes problems reported by Client Success and reproduces issues with relevant data; documents work thoroughly and communicates technical issues to QA leadership and engineers. Requires 4+ years MTM, SQL, and .NET experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle or X12 is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM)
- 4+ years’ experience writing SQL queries
- 1+ year(s) of experience programming with Microsoft.NET
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role is preferred
- Experience with X12 or Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is preferred
