Job Summary
Advanced Processing Cleaning & Contamination Engineer responsible for developing precision optical cleaning processes, reducing contamination, and driving continuous improvement for high-value optical components. Leads equipment projects from specification through procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, and internal qualification; supports contamination test systems, documentation, and qualification activities; collaborates with engineering, operations, and lab teams to maintain stable processes and support daily production needs. Requires strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, and proficiency with Python/MATLAB; experience with lithography, precision optics, contamination control, surface science, and semiconductor manufacturing; familiarity with cleaning technologies and quality methodologies (FMEA, DMAIC, 8D, SPC). Master’s degree with 2+ years or Bachelor’s with 6+ years of related experience in relevant fields is expected; U.S. work authorization required.
