Job Summary
Manage a caseload of complex safeguarding and child protection cases, undertaking assessments, planning, interventions, and case reviews. Support and mentor Social Workers within the team while providing practice leadership and contributing to service improvement. Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and young people, including court proceedings and permanency planning where required. Ensure practice complies with statutory guidance and council procedures. This role involves a 35-hour week with hybrid working (3 days in Liverpool). The client is a well-established safeguarding service in Liverpool City.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work England registration
- Qualified Social Worker status
- Significant experience within Children's Safeguarding Services
- Previous experience working at Senior Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner level
- Strong assessment, risk management, and court work experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Hybrid working with 3 days per week based in Liverpool
- Not a resident within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England
