Job Summary
Conduct patient care consultations and facilitate evidence-based nursing practice within cardiology specialty populations. Translate clinical expertise into direct care or influence nursing standards to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness. Promote professional development and act as a role model for quality care, including potential prescriptive authority for pharmacologic agents. Requires current Oregon RN licensure, DEA certificate, ACLS certification, and graduate-level CNS preparation with two years of related clinical experience. Salary ranges from $72.84 to $94.95 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate education with preparation as a CNS as required by state licensure
- minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
- Current Oregon state RN licensure
- DEA certificate, fully compliant with state requirements for Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
- Current ACLS from the American Heart Association
