Job Summary
Advanced Practice Student in the CNS Track for Sepsis Coordination. The program targets students completing a Master’s Degree in Nursing (Clinical Nurse Specialist). The role offers exposure to clinical areas and multidisciplinary teams to prepare for practice as a CNS, with direct interaction with practicing CNSs, physicians, and leadership. Essential responsibilities include functioning as a learning clinical expert in evidence-based practice within the patient population, supporting nursing research, designing and evaluating patient- and population-based care programs in collaboration with the care team, providing leadership to advance nursing practice within the student role, developing innovative solutions in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and acting as a change agent through coaching and participation in system-wide committees and projects. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- Currently enrolled and completing requirements through an approved school of nursing for a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist program
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Patient Care
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- Certification: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) upon hire
