Job Summary
Advanced Practice Student CNS Track in Medical ICU & SD Services. Program targets completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing (Clinical Nurse Specialist) and offers exposure to practice within a multidisciplinary team, leadership development, and opportunities to contribute to evidence-based nursing practice. Responsibilities include nursing practice within scope of RN, supporting and/or conducting nursing research, developing care programs in collaboration with the care team, and serving as a change agent through coaching and participation in committees and projects system-wide. Requires ongoing enrollment in MSN-CNS program and current RN licensure, with BLS certification upon hire; 2 years RN experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- Currently enrolled and completing requirements through an approved school of nursing for a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist program
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Patient Care
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required upon hire
