Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment planning via telehealth and in-person visits across South Carolina. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including Schedule II–V controlled substances, while monitoring patients for efficacy, tolerability, and safety. Perform required in-person assessments at designated clinic locations for patients receiving controlled substance prescriptions and maintain accurate electronic health record documentation. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and primary care providers on integrated care planning and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This role supports a clinician-led, CARF-accredited practice serving the entire lifespan with flexible contract, part-time, or full-time arrangements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted APRN licensure in the state of South Carolina
  • Current DEA registration with authority to prescribe Schedule II–V controlled substances
  • Minimum 2 years of psychiatric clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community behavioral health settings
  • Demonstrated experience managing patients on controlled substances including stimulants, benzodiazepines, and/or buprenorphine
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Reliable, private workspace and high-speed internet connection suitable for HIPAA-compliant telehealth
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel to TRTG office locations as required by patient care needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Multi-state or compact licensure
  • PMHNP-BC board certification
  • APRN with significant documented psychiatric/mental health clinical experience
  • Experience with PDMP monitoring protocols and controlled substance agreements
  • Background in MAT/MOUD (Medication-Assisted Treatment / Medications for Opioid Use Disorder)
  • Familiarity with integrated or collaborative care models
  • Experience with insurance billing including Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, and commercial plans
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities
