Job Summary
Examine patients and their medical records, order and study diagnostic tests, and diagnose health conditions to propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases. Prescribe medications, maintain accurate records, and educate patients and family members on disease prevention and health practices. Oversee patients' overall health while advancing professional knowledge through research and discourse. Requires proven experience in primary, acute, or chronic care settings with a Master's degree and valid license. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) and health insurance. Located in person at QUICKmed Urgent Care.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Valid nurse practitioner license
- Master's degree
Desired Qualifications
- PhD is a plus
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- You should have experience in one of the following Nurse Practitioner specialties: acute care, neonatal care, pediatrics, cardiology, family health, women's health or psychiatry
- Extensive clinical experience on primary care is vital
