Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant needed to diagnose and treat health conditions, order and study diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families while overseeing patients’ overall health in an in-person urgent care setting. Requires strong primary care, acute care, and chronic care knowledge, excellent communication, ethics, and a team-oriented approach. Requires Master’s degree and a valid nurse practitioner license; Doctorate is a plus. The role demands ongoing pursuit of knowledge and clinical expertise, with responsibilities spanning patient examinations, treatment proposals, record-keeping, patient education, disease prevention, and clinical research.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Valid nurse practitioner license
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
