Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Ortho - Per Diem

Deliver medical care to a wide variety of patients through independent examinations, treatment, and disease prevention. Perform and document complete physical examinations while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests relative to age-specific needs. Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic modalities and implement interventions to support physiologic stability. Monitor intervention effectiveness and facilitate patient transitions within and between health care settings, including admitting, transferring, and discharging. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for referrals and provide educational tools to support staff, patient, and family decision-making. Adhere to University and unit-level policies while safeguarding assets. Requires a Master's degree, valid Florida APRN license, and learning agility; open to current University employees via internal application.
